Danny Johnson has many different professions. Danny Johnson is a real estate investor, entrepreneur, software developer, podcaster, pilot, and author. Let's take a look at his experience in each of these.
Danny took his first software development class at Canyon High School in New Braunfels, Texas. He then went on to major in Computer Science at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Danny has used his computer science degree to create software that helps real estate investors. Danny founded Freedom Driven LLC in 2013. Freedom Driven LLC is Danny's software company that created LeadPropeller, a real estate investor website provider, and Forefront CRM, a real estate investor CRM.
Danny bought his first house as a real estate investment in 2003. He fixed that house up and sold it for a profit. Danny has since bought over 600 hundred houses, which helped many homeowners sell their house fast for cash. Danny and his company, Danny Buys Houses, is a trusted house buyer in San Antonio, Schertz, Seguin, New Braunfels, Boerne and all over south Texas.
Danny has founded multiple companies, including HomeAid, Inc. in 2005 in San Antonio, Texas, Freedom Driven LLC in 2013, several long-term real estate investment companies, and Danny Buys LLC which now operates as Danny Buys Houses.
After his real estate mentor took him for a flight in a Cessna, Danny knew he would eventually become a pilot. In 2010, he started his flight training, solo'd after 8 hours and earned his private pilot certificate within 3 months having just over 40 hours of flight time. His checkride was on his birthday (November 6) that year. Danny then earned his tailwheel endorsement and bought his Van's RV-6 experimental aircraft from the builder in California. Danny has flow many different makes and models including a 1946 Piper Cub, a Citabria, a Pitts S2B, a Super Decathalon, a Mooney Rocket, and a Cessna 172. He is currently working on his Instrument Rating.
Danny's first book, Flipping Houses Exposed: 34 Weeks in the Life of a Successful House Flipper, was published in 2013. The book is a journal of Danny's house buying and flipping business for 34 weeks. Danny has contributed regularly to BiggerPockets, the leading real estate investing website and regularly posts to the Danny Buys Houses Real Estate Blog.
Danny started the Flipping Junkie Podcat in 2015 to share his experiences and knowledge with other real estate investors. The podcast has had over a million downloads and over 500 reviews. Danny's guests have included J Scott, Brandon Turner, Hal Elrod and Joe McCall.
