Danny begin buying houses when he bought his first home in 2003, in San Antonio, Texas. It was a bank foreclosure that needed serious repairs. His father, Frank Johnson, helped him navigate the process of buying the house and fixing it up. Danny then sold the house for a profit. This experience led Danny to buy more houses and eventually start Danny Buys Houses.

Over those twenty years, Danny has bought hundreds of houses. He has helped many homeowners sell their home quickly when they faced situations that created stress in their lives. Danny is proud of helping homeowners and improving neighborhoods one house at a time.

Danny Johnson was invited to speak at Flipping Hacking Live in 2017. Flipping Hacking Live is a real estate investing conference hosted by Bill Allen (previously hosted by Justin Williams). In 2000, Danny was awared a degree in Computer Science from Trinity University, in San Antonio, Texas. Danny used his degree to work as a software developer for a few years. He then started his own software company, Freedom Driven LLC. This company created LeadPropeller, a real estate investor website provider, and Forefront CRM, a real estate investor CRM.

Danny now creates software to assist in his house buying company. He now utilizes Artificial Intelligence to help analyze real estate deals and offer homeowners a fair price for their house.

Danny Johnson's Interest in Aviation

In 2010, Danny got his private pilot certification. He discovered his love for flying conventional gear (tailwheel) airplines when he began flying the 1946 Piper Club at the Boerne Stage airport. The plane had no electrical system and needed to be hand-propped. Danny went on to purchase an experimental Van's RV-6 tailwheel airplane in 2013. He and his girlfriend enjoy taking quick day trips to explore Texas and the surrounding states.
